My mom always leaves during the holidays on vacation since we visit our dad when we have any vacation time so we have Christmas early. As a half Jew/Christian, I thought it was quite ironical that I unwrapped my Christmas presents on the day of the first sunset of Hanukkah. Usually, I'm opening my Hannukkah presents on Christmas since I'm with my Dad. Buuuut I won't be heading down to North Carolina this year due to the recession. Soooo this year for the first time since my parents divorced I'll be spending Christmas on Christmas with my bf's family. Blah. French people. I hate speaking french. I blame being forced, by the Language 101 Law, to go to a French highschool since I am a immigrant in Quebec. Blllaaaa. Evil memories.
